KAILAB is responsible for the personal data collected on this site. For any question about your data, email us at info@kailab.com.co.

Legal framework

This policy complies with Ley Estatutaria 1581 de 2012, Decreto 1377 de 2013 and the other rules on personal data protection in Colombia, overseen by the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), Colombia's data protection authority.

What data we ask for

To process and deliver your order, we ask only for this:

• Email address.
• Mobile number.
• Full name.
• Department, city and shipping address.

From your payment we keep the method, the status and the reference the gateway sends us, never your card details. To protect the store against abuse, our servers log technical connection data, such as the IP address.

We don't ask for an ID number, sensitive data (article 5 of Ley 1581 de 2012) or health information. You don't need an account to buy.

Minors

This site isn't intended for people under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If we find data from a minor, we delete it.

What we use it for

• Processing and managing your order.
• Arranging shipping and tracking.
• Contacting you about your purchase, by email or WhatsApp.
• Meeting legal and accounting obligations.
• Letting you know about availability and catalog news. You can ask us to stop writing to you at any time.

What we'll never do

KAILAB doesn't sell, rent, transfer or disclose your personal data to third parties under any circumstances, except when a competent authority expressly requires it.

We don't use your data for advertising or share it with business partners or marketing platforms. The site's statistics don't include your name, email, mobile number, address or order number.

Who we share data with

• Payments: Wompi (cards, PSE, Nequi, Daviplata and Bancolombia) and NOWPayments (USDT) receive the payment data under their own policies and security standards. KAILAB never sees or stores your card details.
• Shipping: we give the carrier your name, mobile number and delivery address, what's needed to deliver the order.
• Running the site: we use web hosting, database, email, error reporting and analytics providers that act as data processors and may store information on servers outside Colombia, in the United States. They are contractually bound to process the data only on our instructions and with adequate security standards.

Cookies and what we store in your browser

Always, because the store needs them

• Your cart (products and quantities), stored in your browser.
• What you type at checkout, only in that tab, so you don't lose it if you reload the page.
• Your answer to the cookie bar.

Only if you accept, to improve the site

• PostHog counts visits and the steps of a purchase (product viewed, added to cart, checkout started and its result), without your name, email, mobile number, address or order number.
• Microsoft Clarity anonymously records how pages are used and makes heatmaps. The checkout form and the result page are hidden in recordings.

Both have their servers in the United States. If you decline, neither one loads. You can change your choice whenever you want:

You can also delete the site's cookies and data from your browser. If you delete the necessary data, your cart is emptied.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purpose we collected it for and to meet the legal and accounting obligations of Colombian law. After that we delete or anonymize it securely.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. The site and payments are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to customer data is limited to the people who handle orders.

Your rights

Under article 8 of Ley 1581 de 2012, you have the right to:

• Access: see the data KAILAB holds about you, free of charge.
• Update and correct: ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or doesn't reflect reality.
• Delete: ask us to delete it when it isn't being processed lawfully, unless we must keep it by law.
• Revoke: withdraw your authorization to process it at any time, where applicable.
• Be informed: know how we have used it, if you ask.
• File complaints: go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) if you believe your rights were violated.

How to exercise them

Email us at info@kailab.com.co with your full name, the right you want to exercise and a description of your request. We reply within 10 business days for inquiries and 15 business days for claims, as Ley 1581 de 2012 requires.

Your authorization

By completing a purchase you authorize KAILAB to process your data under this policy and only for the purposes it describes. You can revoke this authorization at any time by emailing info@kailab.com.co.
