Summary

What is BPC-157?

BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide made of 15 amino acids. Its sequence comes from a protective protein in gastric juice, hence its name: Body Protection Compound.

What is it researched for?

It's studied for the repair of tendons, ligaments and muscles, and for protecting the stomach and intestine. Almost all the research is in animals and in the lab.

How does it work?

In the lab it has been seen to help new blood vessels form and to help the cells that repair tissue move in. In people, no mechanism has been confirmed yet.

Janoshik analyzed a sample from lot BP06261310K. The result applies to that sample, not to every vial in the lot.

How to verify it yourself

  1. Open the certificate and find the report number and the verification details.
  2. Look up that report on Janoshik's website.
  3. Check that the product, lot and results match this page.

Preparation

3 mLof bacteriostatic water
for the 10 mg vial
If you already know how to reconstitute, that's all you need.
ConcentrationOn a U-100 syringe3.33 mg per mL30 units = 1 mg

Reconstituting means mixing the powder in the vial with bacteriostatic water to get a solution that's ready to use. The peptide comes as a powder because it keeps better that way.

How to reconstitute

The same 6 steps as the video. Tap an image to see it full size.

  1. 1. What you need. Have everything on the “What you need” list at hand.
  2. 2. Get ready. Wash your hands well and work on a clean surface. Let the vial and the water reach room temperature.
  3. 3. Clean the stoppers. Remove the plastic caps. Wipe the stoppers with alcohol and let them dry.
  4. 4. Draw the water. Draw 3 mL of bacteriostatic water. Read the measurement at the plunger edge closest to the needle.
  5. 5. Add the water slowly. The vial is vacuum sealed and pulls the water in: hold the plunger right where it enters the syringe. Let the water run down the inside wall of the vial, never straight onto the powder. Dispose of the needle in a rigid container.
  6. 6. Dissolve completely. Don't shake the vial. Swirl it gently or let it rest; it usually takes 30 seconds to 3 minutes. It's ready when there are no particles and it's completely clear.

Afterward: label the vial with the date you reconstituted it and keep it in the fridge (see Storage).

What you need

  • Peptide vial
  • Bacteriostatic water
  • 3 mL syringe for mixing
  • 0.5 mL U-100 insulin syringes
  • 70% alcohol wipes
  • Rigid container for used needles

Reading the amounts

mL · volume of liquid
mg/mL · resulting concentration

Storage

Once reconstituted, it needs cold and darkness.

2 °C – 8 °C
Always in the fridge. Take it out only to draw your dose and put it back right away.
Never freeze it
Once reconstituted, freezing damages it. Also avoid the fridge door, where the temperature changes the most.
4 to 6 weeks
Use it within that time after reconstituting. Protect it from light: keep it in its box or a dark container.
Before reconstitution: it keeps best in the fridge or freezer, away from light and moisture.
If you travel: carry it in an insulated bag with a cold pack, without direct contact with the ice.

This is a suggested progression, not a cycle you have to finish. Starting low and going up every two weeks lets you see how your body responds. It's the reference published by peptidedosages.com; no dose has been established in human studies.

Practical tips

About the dose

Consistency matters most

A small dose every day at the same time is easier to keep up than a changing schedule. Set a reminder.

More isn't always better

No human studies show that a higher dose works better. If a phase is working for you, you can stay there.

Keep a simple log

Write down the date, the dose and how the area you care about feels. That way you track your progress with data, not memory.

If side effects show up

At the injection site

A little redness or itching usually goes away within minutes. Rotate the site every day: belly, thighs, a few inches from the last one.

Always use a new syringe

One per dose, and wipe the vial's stopper with alcohol before each draw.

If something doesn't feel right

Stay on your current dose longer before going up, or stop. There's no deadline to meet.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have to inject it near the injury?

Studies haven't shown that it's necessary. Many people in forums do it, thinking it works better on that area; animal studies used other routes and other doses. Subcutaneous injection in the belly or thigh is the most common and simplest way.

How long until you notice anything?

No human studies have measured it. Forums talk about one to three weeks, but those are experiences without a comparison group: part of the improvement may be natural recovery.

Can it be combined with TB-500?

It's the most popular combination in forums: BPC-157 is associated with the injured area and TB-500 with overall recovery. There are no studies of the two together. If you're interested, see GLOW, which combines them with GHK-Cu in a single vial.

Does it work the same taken orally as injected?

Nobody knows. Oral versions are being studied, but this vial is for reconstituting and injecting, and it hasn't been shown that both routes give the same result.

Where can I check the lab results before I buy?

In Quality, on this same page, you can open the report for the strength and lot we sell.

What's included, and how much is shipping?

Every peptide vial comes with one 3 mL vial of bacteriostatic water, plus alcohol wipes; the reconstitution guide is on this page. Shipping is free anywhere in Colombia, in discreet packaging.

What do the studies say?

The vast majority of results come from animals. There's very little data in people.

Review of the evidence

HSS Journal · 2025 · 36 studies

The authors reviewed 544 publications on BPC-157 in tendons, ligaments and muscles. Of the 36 studies included, 35 were in animals or in the lab and only one in people.

Animal studies showed improvements in tendon and muscle repair. The authors conclude that controlled clinical trials in people are still missing.

Safety in people

2025 · 2 adults · 2 days

Two adults received 10 mg and then 20 mg intravenously. There were no changes in heart, liver, kidney, thyroid or glucose tests, and no side effects were reported.

With only two people, no conclusions can be drawn about long-term safety.

How to read this data

  • Animal results can't be turned directly into a dose for people.
  • There are no large trials in people, so there's no reliable list of side effects either.
  • The studies used their own preparations, not KAILAB vials.
